SOCIAL SERVICES: Awarding of checks to three (3) Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) on Monday, October 7, 2019 through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program in coordination with the Local Government of Rosales. The livelihood beneficiaries include the Vegetable Farming Association, Fish Cart Association and Welding Association which agreed to venture community projects. Leading the turnover of checks were Provincial Coordinator, Ronald G. Gabriel, Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Gilbert S. Cariño, Implementing Project Development Officer, Amie Grace T. Soriano, Mayor Susan P. Casareno, Vice Mayor Enrique S. Cosue Jr, Municipal Councilors Manolo D. Quiambao and Dominador F. Leal, Jr. Municipal Social Welfare and Developmtent Officer Perlita O. Aquino, OSCA Head, Maj. Juanito De la Cruz (RET) and PNP Chief John Corpuz.
The Sustainable Livelihood Program aims to provide access to resources that will improve the productivity of the participants’ already existing livelihood. It is open to every Filipino family especially the poor, marginalized, vulnerable, and disadvantaged.
