BASIC HEALTH SERVICES
The RURAL HEALTH UNIT of Rosales, Pangasinan aims to ensure maximum access to quality and efficient health services provided by compassionate health care workers. Several services are provided to clients such as consultation for medical and dental illnesses, family planning services, and normal delivery and then other facilities involving environmental sanitation, laboratory tests and issuance of various health certificates and permits.
- MEDICAL AND PEDIATRIC OUT PATIENT CONSULTATION
Health consultation is provided to all townspeople who seek medical aid for their ailments and to maintain their well-being. Medicines are provide for free including healthy lifestyle advice. Health and safety protocols are observed to prevent disease transmission and to facilitate surveillance reports.

- DENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Oral health services are provided for all Rosalinians – pregnant mothers, pre-school children, and all adults in need of dental services. There are several programs available on a year-round basis that caters to all age groups provided by two competent dentists. School visits are regularly conducted as well as the Oral Health Fair during the month of February.

- LABORATORY PROCEDURES
Routine laboratory tests performed are complete blood count, urinalysis and sputum microscopy. Pregnant women may avail of these tests for free as part of their prenatal program. Other tests like stool exam and hepatitis tests are performed for job applicants. The gene expert test for presumptive tuberculosis cases is a new test as well as the antigen/rtpcr specimen collection for the coronavirus disease.

- IMMUNIZATION OF INFANTS AND OTHER AGE GROUPS
The National Immunization Program initially covered child immunization and anti-tetanus vaccine for pregnant women. A vaccination campaign against measles, tetanus and polio was started ten years ago as a school-based immunization program aiming to give booster doses to all grade 1 and grade 7 students and anti-cervical cancer vaccine for female grade 4 pupils. The establishment of the National Vaccination Operation’s center for the covid19 vaccination is recently added to the immunization armamentarium.

- CHILDBIRTH SERVICES (PRENATAL CHECK UP AND NORMAL SPONTANEOUS DELIVERY)
The maternal health and child health and nutrition program encompasses the services provided to pregnant women including family planning commodities. The rural health midwives provide these services to their catchment barangays in a regular manner to help all women of reproductive age achieve their desired number of children and prevent pregnancy complications.
