Mayor William S. Cezar, Vice Mayor Susan Pagador-Casareno, and Councilor Harry B. Bernabe joined the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources in Calasiao, Pangasinan, for the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on Forest Land Use Planning in Rosales.

In his message, Atty. Crizaldy Barcelo, Regional Executive Director for the Department, explained that the Forest Land Use Plan is not merely a tool for dividing and distributing open access lands; rather, it’s a tool for establishing responsibilities and accountabilities in the management of forests and forestlands in the municipality.

Mayor William Cezar ended the ceremony with a message of appreciation for the newly established partnership and project between the DENR and our local government.
